Ultimate British Christmas Party 2011

The Ultimate British Christmas Party was a great succes. The event was held at the Fairmont Royal York hotel on December 2nd 2011.

The acclaimed British Canadian Chamber of Trade and Commerce celebrated this year’s Christmas Fare in style. With crackers and carols. The famous BCCTC draw prizes also surely made it exciting. There was a gift for all!

Thanks to the sponsors the raffle the prizes were very appealing to all. Especially the two tickets to London, England, the ipads and many more amazing gifts. With great food, service, gifts and a feeling of community, the Christmas spirit was all around.

Read Africa Ball

The second annual CODE Read Africa Ball was held on Friday November 25th. It was the hottest ticket in town to launch the 2011 festive season!

People enjoyed and danced to live African sounds and DJ music, shopped for Christmas at the silent auction and mingled at the open bar and feast on fine hors d’oeuvres.

The 2nd CODE annual fundraiser was a gift of literacy’ to children in Africa this season.

The Story of The Holiday Helpers

The premiere screening for a documentary on Holiday Helpers was sensational.
Last year the Holiday Helpers adopted 154 families for Christmas and this year they are hoping to adopt 200 families in the GTA.

The documentary is 37 min and will be submitted for consideration at the film festivals.

The preview screening was the last Thursday, November 24th at Corus Quay being a success.

Liberty Social Hour: Noche Caliente

inLibertyVillage.com and CityEvents invite you to a series of casual socializing and networking events. This fall, we will be hosting evening events at Locus 144 and William’s Landing in Liberty Village.

CityEvents and InLibertyVillage.com hosted the Liberty Social Hour –Noche Caliente, which enabled locals to mingle with each other. Locus 144, located in The Liberty Market, held a successful community networking event showcasing their unique dinner menu and spirits lists.
